She wants to sleep forever

Rapunzel cannot put up with living this way, prisoner in a tower without doors, prisoner of an evil witch.
Yesterday, she discovered that her poor and hungry parents exchanged her for cabbages when she was a baby, since that horrible witch owns a huge cabbage patch. She felt a knife-wound in her damaged heart, which had already tolerated that despicable Prince and his treachery, that Prince who climbed her tower only because he desired her body, that Prince who didn't rescue her.
Rapunzel doesn't want to live.


This is my first "Twisted fate" artwork, I would like to do more like this. In this one, Rapunzel commits suicide. By the way, all the cabbage thing is real. The original tale tells that, and also tells that the Prince only climbed the tower to knock her up and then the witch kills him because he falls down the tower and he falls on some thorns. Very beautiful and happy ending.

I started this one in April I redid the background a few times because I wasn't happy with it and then I suddently got blocked. So I decided to start more drawings and let this one forgotten on my gallery. This is a very bad an usual habit.
